Thanks for visiting the Platinum Collection on the Internet-purveyor of fine hand crafted Ardor Brebbia and Rinaldo briar tobacco pipes both new and estate as well as news articles and model lists for pipe manufacturers! I will also carry a number of other classy and popular estate pipes for sale as well. This site was created with the intention of being a repository for pipe carver information-specifically pipe carver biographies and pipe model information (i.e. shapes, finishes, styles, lines, etc.) for the pipes that I currently have in stock and available for sale here. As my stock grows the pipe information will be augmented with additional pipe manufacturer/carver histories, models, and numerous other details on those pipes. Right now I carry several models of Italian pipes (Ardor, Rinaldo, and Brebbia) and links for all three pipes are listed below. When you click on each link you will arrive at a page dedicated to details about each pipe carver containing biography, model lists and pipe finishes-as well as a number of fine pipes for sale. Brebbia
Pipes- Pipe Brebbia is one of the oldest pipe manufacturers in Italy with a factory which dates back to World War II. The idea behind Brebbia was to create a briar pipe far and above the quality of pipes which were common in Italy during the first half of the 20th century. They succeeded immensely. Originally they produced the Savinelli pipe as well, but have since carved their own special niche in pipe carving history. Over 50 years since inception their quality and standards are as high as ever and their briar pipes possess an innovative quality that has been repsonsible for many trends in pipe carving today. |
